A gear coupling is a type of coupling that is often used with high torque or high-power output. Gear couplings are typically able to withstand more torque than universal joints, whereas universal joints produce less vibration. A gear coupling is made up of a two-part hub with internal and external teeth and an external or internal sleeve.

RBW Series

Sleeve-Flex assembly can be done quickly and efficiently, since there are no bolts, gaskets, covers, or seals. Alignments can be checked with a straight edge placed on the outside of precision-machined flanges. The teeth of the sleeve lock into the teeth of the flanges without screws or clamps, tightening under torque to provide smooth transmission of energy.
